The lilacs are blooming, folks. This can mean only one thing: it’s time to make lilac butter. It can also mean that we, Seven Count, are dusting off the band’s wagons to hit the road once again. We have a sweet little tour lined up for the end of May and we hope you can join us!
Tuesday the 21st, 7pm: Jive Hive Live in Albany, NY.
A sweet room setup for video production and transmission, in front of a live studio audience, a la Beat Club sessions from the 60s. Come take part in some movie magic!

Come out and hear us play! Live improvisation is the core of our practice, so find it at the source. We’ll have our new tapes with us, and our real decks.
In the clouds
May showers bring forth more than just flowers from the proverbial font of the clouds; We now have our music available on Spotify. That’s right, the inexorable pull towards total and utter submission to the commercial overlords has finally exacted a toll - we offer our music for free. But then again, weren’t we doing that sometimes anyway?
Yes. So: in the spirit of getting your ears into our music (or is it the other way round?), please find our newest album, Rags and Sparkle, here. Add it to your playlists! Share it with your friends! We know you hear it all the time, but your engagement with this stuff actually does help us help you help us get our music into the lives of more people.
And if you fancy supporting us for more doll hairs than the fractions of a cent per-play that streaming offers, you can still find copies of our latest album, Rags and Sparkle, available for sale on our bandcamp page. Delicious viper green cassette with a smokey tape with gold imprint. It’s a special item, and there are less than 50 left in the whole world.
We’ll send out updates closer to the tour, too, here, on our website, and on our instagram.
Hope to see or hear with you soon!
